Dentsu Picks Up Happy Creative in Second Indian Acquisition

On October 11, Dentsu announced that it reached an agreement with the principal shareholders of Indian-based Happy Creative Services to acquire the company.

According to Denstu, the deal is expected to close in the next few weeks.

Happy Creative was founded in 2007 by two creatives and provides services such as brand creation, which includes the naming and positioning of a new brand at the time of its launch; online and offline communication strategies for existing brands; and the planning and implementation of marketing campaigns.

Denstu’s press release explained that the company will become part of its creative agency mcgarrybowen, which will be rebranded to Happy mcgarrybowen as a result.

This is the second recent Dentsu Aegis Network investment in India after it acquired Perfect Relations.
