Accenture Video Solution Picked by BT TV

Accenture has announced on September 7, 2016, that BT TV has selected its Accenture Video Solution (AVS) to power its current and future offerings, including BT Sport.
Currently used by over 60 million users globally, the AVS is an Accenture-developed software platform that provides services supporting both live streaming and video-on-demand, which delivers high-quality user experience across multiple devices including smartphones, tablets, and computers.
Greg McCall, Managing Director of Television and Content at BT, commented: "Our customers want access to world class video at any time and on any device they choose, so it is critical that we have a platform in place that keeps them engaged. With AVS, we have a strategic OTT platform able to rapidly develop and bring new services to market. Importantly, we can scale the platform when we need to, making sure the audience has a seamless viewing experience.”
