SAS included in 100 Best Workplaces for Women Ranking

SAS announced it was ranked by Fortune magazine as one of the 100 Best Workplaces for Women.
The company noted that women hold 40 percent of management and executive positions in the US. It’s press release stated: "SAS actively develops and engages women within the company, offering training, consultation, mentoring and networking opportunities that address the needs of women in the workplace. Programs like the Women’s Initiative Network (WIN) empower, encourage and inspire women to pursue excellence in their careers. WIN members also serve as ambassadors for SAS in area schools and businesses, and advocates for careers in science and technology."
Claiming that it’s been setting "the standard for workplace culture by fostering an environment that helps employees balance the challenges – and opportunities – of career and personal life," SAS took pride in pointing out the numerous on-site benefits it provides including free recreation and fitness center, free health care centers with a full-service pharmacy, subsidized child care, meals to go, parenting workshops, lactation consultants, and work/life counselors and seminars.
